Panacea's Cabernet Sauvignon was recently featured on Emeril Lagasse's Essence of Emeril.  In Emeril's words, "You want to talk about a big Cabernet..."

Pan.a.ce.a, noun:

  • From Greek mythology, the goddess of healing.
  • In modern times, a cure-all or remedy that completely solves a problem.

Chris Sweetanos, maker of the 2003 Twenty Rows Cabernet Sauvignon which was chosen #1 by Food and Wine magazine in October 2006, has done it again with his own company, Panacea Wine Company. The problem being solved with this Panacea was to improve upon his outstanding Cabernets, and create a Napa Valley Cabernet priced for everyone. Panakeia, the goddess of cures, would wholeheartedly approve of the result of Chris's efforts. Full of ripe flavors that seamlessly flow over the palate, all the Panacea wines, from the signature Cabernet Sauvignon, to the well balanced Sauvignon Blanc and the amazing blend of flavors in Vindetta are sure to help remedy the ills of the stress filled world in which we find ourselves.

Chris started Panacea Consulting in 2003, and at that time he had a small idea; make a quality Napa Valley Cabernet at an price everyone could afford.  He had no idea just how big that little idea would become.  Today his wines are available coast to coast and he continues to apply his craft to new blends bursting with flavor.  To quote Mari Stull, wine journalist and columnist, "He[Chris] sinks his talents and money into the wine, and lets the other guys pay for expensive wineries - the result is a terrific wine at a terrific price."

"Give me a bowl of wine.
In this I bury all unkindness."
